Forming and Reforming Environments Test

This video shows a test which will be used in the video to represent the forming and reforming of the virtual world where environments overlap and form on top of where another environment was before. For speed in the test the same object breaks up and reforms but in the final video once space will break up and then a new set of components will form into place to create a new environment.

The test used the PhysX and Particle flow plugins for 3ds Max. The group of objects that forms the bridge was used as a Birth Group source for the particles meaning the particles take on the form on the built components which can then be manipulated using external forces. In this one I used a vortex, PhysX flow and zero gravity.
